Join us for the Big Island’s premier 5k event, but register early because this event fills up fast! The start time is at 7:30 AM SHARP on December 21, 2025, at the Coconut Grove Marketplace. Come out and have some fun!

The 5k event encourages participation from all fitness levels and running backgrounds. You'll have a blast, especially with the holiday costumes, making it a perfect addition to your holiday season!

And for you parents out there…be sure to get your kids ready for ‘Santa’s Keiki Dash' – a popular fun Kona running event for children 6 & under! (50-yd, 100-yd, & 200-yd events).

The hundreds of creative holiday costumes worn by participants make this event truly unique. It’s genuinely an incredible parade of holiday fun! Plus, awards are presented for the top three best-dressed Christmas costumes. And if you’re not a fast runner and your costume didn't win, you still have a great chance to win one of the dozens of fantastic raffle prizes! Seriously, it’s pretty hard to go home empty-handed at this event…

Course Info

Starting at the Coconut Grove Marketplace, participants will travel North on Ali’i Drive and hit the first turnaround point at Kailua Pier, then will head South on Ali’i Drive to the second turnaround point (approximately 10 meters after Green Flash Coffee). An aid station will be located at approximately 1.3 miles, and clear signage will also be located at turnarounds to prevent any confusion. Participants will then head back North along Ali’i Drive to the finish line at Coconut Grove Marketplace . Terrain is relatively flat with a few gradual inclines along the way.

Coconut Grove Marketplace is once again hosting this year’s Jingle Bell Beach Run! Our 16th annual event starts and finishes in front of the iconic beachfront property overlooking beautiful Kailua Bay.

Coconut Grove Marketplace is just .5 mile South of the Kailua Pier, offering beautiful, wide-open grassy areas, ample parking, and an array of excellent restaurants & shops – including the famous Big Island Running Company.
