Dashing Through the Sand!
Hawaii Island’s most entertaining running event for kids ages 6 & under. This is a FREE event held in conjunction with the popular Jingle Bell Beach Run, the largest 5K running event on the Big Island.
The Keiki Dash features (3) distances, based on age. All are non-timed and designed for maximum fun on Coconut Grove’s iconic sand volleyball court.

50-yard dash (1-lap): Ages 1-2

100-yard dash (2-laps): Ages 3-4

200-yard dash (4-laps): Ages 5-6
HOW TO REGISTER
FREE registration for Santa's Keiki Dash is available during the 5K race packet pickup (in-person) at Coconut Grove Marketplace on Saturday, December 20 (9:00 AM – 3:00 PM), and on race morning at the start/finish area on December 21 (6:00 AM – 7:30 AM). Parents/Guardians must sign a waiver for their child. Keiki Bib #’s will be issued at registration.
ATTENTION: All Keiki MUST WEAR SHOES during this event - and MUST be registered with a BIB#.
This is a family-friendly event, parents/guardians are welcome to accompany their children.
